Wagner College External Programs announces the premier offering of its Professional
Event Coordination certificate course, on March 9 at 7:30 p.m.at its Staten
Island Grymes Hill campus. The Professional Event Coordination Course examines
the entire event planning process and provides the tools and strategies to
effectively procure, organize, implement, and monitor all the products, services,
and service providers that constitute a successful event.
The course will prepare students for the CSEP (Certified Special Events Professional) certification exam. The CSEP designation is the hallmark of professional achievement in the special events industry. It is earned through education, performance, experience, and service to the industry. The course is being taught by Marissa Mortimer, creator of Lavish Occasions (www.lavishoccasions.com) and one of the most sought after event planners in the New York Metropolitan Area. The Professional Event Coordination course is an eight-week program meeting on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Wagner College. Tuition is all inclusive at $895.
