How do I get started?

The first step is rather simple: Consultations are always FREE. During our first consultation, you will decide whether our services can add value to your event. If so, we will help you decide on a method of event planning.
  1. We can work with you by guiding you through the entire event-planning process. This encompasses booking of all vendors (including facilities), providing you with fresh and innovative ideas, and of course tying it all together to make a "Lavish Occasion".
  2. Using another method of event-planning, we charge an agreed-upon fee based on the work to be done. This works best for clients who would like to do most of the planning themselves with a particular objective in mind. In this case, we are here to give you advice and options based on your own personal vision. Of course our advice, ideas and rentals are at your disposal if you choose to have us review or consult during your event.
Planning Consultation, where we provide:
  • Two-hour planning session
  • Preparation of budget
  • Advice on various aspects of your event including such items as etiquette, traditions, timing and many other features of your event
  • Provide limited vendor recommendations
  • Offer creative suggestions
  • 20% discount on invitations and all other Wedding accessories including programs and favors
Wedding Weekend Coordination Package: For the Bride who planned it herself
  • Two Three-Hour Meetings
  • Review and evaluate vendor contracts
  • Coordinate/confirm Wedding vendors
  • Create weekend schedule / detailed itinerary
  • Send schedules to Wedding party / family members and vendors
  • Review all details of Wedding
  • Attend rehearsal (will direct if necessary)
  • Execute all Wedding plans with family, party and guests
  • Ceremony coordination including setup
  • Reception coordination including transporting, bustle Wedding gown, and coordinate activities
  • Distribute last payments
  • Direct load of all items into appropriate vehicle
  • Use of emergency kit
  • Return designated and agreed upon post Wedding items
  • Unlimited emails regarding event
  • 20% discount on invitations and all other Wedding accessories including programs and favors
Complete Event Coordination Package:
All services listed in Planning Consultation and Weekend Coordination above, plus:
  • Creation of Wedding binder with comprehensive time line
  • Scheduling of vendor appointments
  • Attend vendors appointments (time/location mutually agreed upon)
  • Create customized budget and Wedding task list
  • One-hour consulting meeting per each month prior to Wedding
  • Create announcements for paper
  • Assist with creation of menu, floor plans, music selection and invitations and programs
  • Attend one-hour finalization meeting with each vendor
LAVISH OCCASIONS will help you to create a complete itinerary for your Wedding Day
  • Not only do we coordinate all Wedding Day activities during ceremony and reception, but we troubleshoot and answer all vendor questions so that you have no interruptions during your special day.
  • We take care of all the important details such as pinning corsages, boutonnieres, transferring flowers to the reception from the ceremony.
  • Lavish Occasions helps decorate before guests arrive laying out guest cards for seating.
  • If requested, we gladly distribute balances and gratuities to all vendors.
  • And we provide any other services you may request on your wonderful day...
